The Clinical Maze is a 1-day, fast-paced, knowledge thirsty course designed to challenge, debate and further our clinical reasoning
We will lead you on a profound exploration of various topics, including rheumatology, neurology, genetics, bloods, investigations, pharmacology, social prescribing, population health, and health inequalities. With an emphasis on current and innovative research, we will challenge you to think critically and apply your newfound knowledge to practical scenarios.
Recognising the significance of identifying masqueraders, detecting red flags, and triaging efficiently to optimise patient outcomes, will be key, with a focus on the optimisation of clinical pathways underpinned by robust governance.
The Clinical Maze will provide an understanding of emerging challenges and opportunities presented by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), First Contact Practitioners (FCPs), and primary care delivery systems. We will highlight the importance of building a collaborative, multi-professional workforce to foster best practices in clinical reasoning.
